Provides support by acquiring, compiling, and analyzing information relevant to industry policies. Will stay abreast of policy issues relating to state and federal industry regulations and provide impact analysis of legislation to maintain compliance and improve the operations of the organization. In coordination with legal counsel, also creates and maintains required legal documents and submits documents for State and Federal product filings. Follows laws and regulations to implement basic administrative support for operations. Facilitation of planning meetings and lead cross-functional teams to execute compliance plans is also required. Provides education, training events, conducts public speaking, and create communication pieces for staff and any other identifiable or industry-specific work group or stakeholders. Reviews and ensures relevant documents and other necessary files are in accordance with HIPAA. Displays accuracy and attention to detail when working with constantly changing forms. Ability to seek out, read, and understand research. Works in conjuncture with compliance team and legal counsel and others as needed. Will also undertake special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in one of the following is preferred: Public Policy, Health Policy, Political Science or Journalism.
