We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Physics Technician supporting our Health Physics Team at our Torrey Pines Campus in San Diego, CA. Under general direction, this position is responsible for the evaluation, implementation, and control of the company's radioactive waste programs and procedures. Participates in recommending and implementing procedures for inspections, emergency response, waste handling, and waste disposal. Prepares necessary documents, permits, records, and reports to ensure a variety of regulatory and industry standards are maintained. Maintains awareness of federal, state, local, and industry radioactive waste regulations. Assignments are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
