About The Position

The Health Partner Incentive Analyst III is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial and clinical data related to health partner incentive programs. This role involves preparing and reviewing integrated reporting on health partner incentive programs for providers and management on a timely and accurate basis, developing and maintaining internal dashboards pertaining to Alternative Payment Model (APM) performance, and identifying trends to present findings to senior management. The analyst will evaluate and improve internal analysis processes, ensure contract implementation aligns with corporate APM definitions, and monitor new health partner payment/incentive programs for reporting and measurement. Additionally, the role includes providing recommendations for program enhancements, managing development efforts for incentive applications, conducting user acceptance testing, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to health partner payment/incentive configuration. The analyst will also conduct post-implementation audits, perform process gap analysis, and maintain documentation for tracking health partners and their respective incentive program specifics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Managed Care or Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SQL, SAS or other relational database software and/or business intelligence (BI) tools preferred.
  • Ability to lead and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review integrated reporting on health partner incentive programs for providers and management.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain internal dashboards pertaining to Alternative Payment Model (APM) performance.
  • Identify trends, develop competitive analysis, and present findings to senior management.
  • Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal analysis processes.
  • Ensure contract implementation and maintenance accurately reflect corporate APM program definitions.
  • Monitor and track implementation of new health partner payment/incentive programs.
  • Provide recommendations on program enhancements supported by research and analysis.
  • Assist with the management of development efforts for incentive application.
  • Conduct/review complex user acceptance testing for incentive application development.
  • Develop SOPs related to health partner payment/incentive configuration.
  • Conduct post-implementation audits to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Analyze data to identify and resolve any internal errors.
  • Conduct process gap analysis and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure that documentation is accurately maintained for tracking health partners.
  • Conduct/review member attribution analysis to align with population management efforts.
  • Collect and process supplemental data pertaining to APM programs.
  • Assist in data reconciliation pertaining to APM programs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders for analytic assessment and delivery of reporting.
