About The Position

The Health Lab at Williams College is seeking a temporary, part-time data manager (10-15 hours/week). This position is ideal for someone who has considerable coding experience (preferably using R) and has managed long-format, intensively repeated datasets that contain ecological momentary assessment (EMA; brief, repeated, smartphone-delivered surveys) and/or sensor data (e.g., GPS, sleep, weather, minute-level Fitbit data). The Health Lab Data Manager will focus on cleaning, (re)coding, merging, and conducting descriptive and statistical analyses on multiple datasets in the lab. The data manager will also have opportunities for contributing to conference presentations and manuscripts for publication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Considerable coding experience, preferably using R.
• Experience managing long-format, intensively repeated datasets.
• Experience with R/R Studio, Google Office Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate degree involving training in data science is preferable.

Responsibilities
