About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Health Insurance Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling insurance policies, and administering benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and be able to communicate effectively with clients, both in-person and over the phone. In this role, you will sell insurance policies to clients, ensuring that they are fully informed of the coverage options and benefits associated with each policy. You will conduct needs assessments to determine the best insurance products for each client and negotiate with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements. It is essential to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and regulations to effectively administer benefits to clients, ensuring that all requirements are met and that clients receive the maximum benefits available. Providing exceptional customer service is a key aspect of this position, as you will be responding promptly to client inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner. You will work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting or exceeding sales targets as required. Utilizing advanced software systems to manage client data and maintain accurate records will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying up-to-date with industry developments by attending training sessions and workshops is crucial to maintain expertise in insurance sales and benefits administration. Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA, is mandatory.
