About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Consumer Sales Agent (CSA) to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. In this role, you will support clients within Ritter’s existing book of business as well as consumers referred through active agent referral programs. You’ll handle inbound calls, assist with enrollments, and help clients navigate Medicare and individual health plan options. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pennsylvania health insurance license or willingness to obtain one within 60 days.
• Ability to secure additional state licenses as needed.
• Annual Medicare AHIP certification (required).
• Carrier-specific training and certification (required).
• Will be contracted as a Licensed Only Agent through Ritter Insurance Marketing for all necessary carriers.
• Basic understanding of health insurance processes and terminology.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, and ACA (Affordable Care Act) plans.
• General understanding of business operations and procedures.
• Ability to meet established sales and performance metrics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems, CRM tools, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Insurance sales or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a call center or client-service environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients via inbound phone calls, email, and website inquiries.
• Sell Medicare and individual health insurance products.
• Manage and service an existing book of business.
• Process enrollments, renewals, and policy updates.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative tasks.
• Work with referral leads generated by participating agents.
