About The Position

The Consumer Sales Agent is responsible for marketing and selling insurance products and services offered by Ritter Insurance Marketing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Health insurance license preferred.
• The CSA will need to complete the Medicare AHIP and any carrier specific training.
• The CSA will be contracted through Ritter Insurance Marketing for all necessary carriers.
• Basic understanding of insurance and agent relationship.
• Basic understanding of Medicare and Medicare products.
• Insurance sales and /or marketing experienced preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Good computer and typing skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to meet the sales and production goals, as determined by management.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including email, copy machine, scanner, fax machine, and telephone.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Insurance sales and /or marketing experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selling insurance products to clients who contact RIM Call Center via inbound call, email, or website.
• Handling enrollments and policy renewals.
• Manage an existing book of business and work with referral leads.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records.
