Rock Springs Rock Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Georgetown, TX, part of the greater Austin metropolitan area. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for adolescents and adults, as well as specialized programming for active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals. Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Help for Heroes. Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required (Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education)
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Certification Preferred RHIT or RHIA
• With proper credentials, Coordinator may be required to complete vitals check on patients.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
