We believe that our collective efforts will shape a healthier future for the communities we serve. Woodland Springs is a 96-bed behavioral health hospital located in Conroe, Texas. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in administering health information services consistent with accreditation and regulatory standards and facility standards.
  • Implement P&Ps for documenting, storing and retrieving information, processing medical legal documents, insurance data, and correspondence requests.
  • Maintain patient medical records and ensure accurate documentation per requirements.
  • Process requests for health information (medical records) in a timely manner and ensure accuracy in the release of records.
  • Respond to telephone, email, and facsimile inquiries.
  • Validate requests and authorizations for release of information according to company procedures and HIPAA regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with hospital departments to process all revisions and requests for medical records.
  • Monitor medical record chart completion, data accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed.
