About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Health Information & Compliance Manager for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Requirements

• Associates degree in business or health-related field required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in health care setting.
• Previous experience in health information, HIPAA Privacy, and/or health compliance preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree in business administration, healthcare management or health-related field preferred.
• Certificate/License: CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) or CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the overall activities of medical records, release of information, compliance and HIPAA privacy office.
• Staff supervision and development.
• Budgeting and planning departmental projects and priorities.
• Serving as the clinic's Compliance Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer.
