About The Position

As a Data Analysis, you will help develop, advance and oversee the analytics and reporting strategy. You will help support strategy and business planning activities that improve the growth or programmatic development of ONE Health Ohio. You will also help improve the organizational knowledge management and data-driven decision to make using qualitative and quantitative analysis, quality, and/or other relevant metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of business intelligence/analytics experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare required
  • Advance Knowledge of electronic medical record software (NextGen)
  • Advance proficiency in information technology project and processes management.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other relevant Masters degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Formulate short-term and long-term informatics strategies, and translate strategies into analytic and reporting solutions including data architecture and reporting tools.
  • Lead utilization and integration of complex data sets including clinical electronic medical records, financial, operational data, and research data.
  • Evaluate and identify new tools and opportunities in informatics, technology, and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate to prioritize patient needs, allocate resources, and ensure analytic utilization, functional and department teams.
  • Engage with executive leadership, department heads and clinical teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Initiate and lead data governance and facilitate related information sharing.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Population Health, the Data Analyst is responsible for collectin and analyzing data in a health care environment and facilitating delivery to government and private entities, as well as providing data analysis and reporting for internal requests. This includes supplemental data for value-based care contracts.
  • Participate and lead committees to ensure analytic alignment and satisfaction
  • Collaborate, and manage software vendor.
  • Develops and delivers structured and customized in-house training and development programs for all NextGen end users.
  • Conducts management and staff training programs to provide an effective and interactive learning environment as needed to meet the organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify training needs based on usage data and performance indicators.
  • Evaluate workflow efficiency and outcomes using performance indicators.
  • Actively participates in NextGen education team planning and non-team training.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, and provide actionable insights to drive performance.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPPA and other regulatory requirements related to date privacy, security and ethical use of data.
  • Collaborate closely with the Informatics team to ensure data governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Provides front-end support with users to ensure that the functionality of the EMR is being optimized.
  • Provides real-time training for physicians, other care providers, or non-clinical users of the EMR at their side, who utilize NextGen to document patient information when needed.
  • Support repoting for UDS, HEDIS, PCMH and other quality programs.
  • Provides telephone support to EMR users.
  • Creates user setup and resets passwords for new users of the electronic medical record Azara and InteliChart.
  • Contribute to a clean, safe work environment and travel to other locations as required
  • Other duties as assigned, up to and including travel to other locations that is required.
