This position is part of the Quality Informatics team. Key responsibilities include managing Ambulatory regulatory compliance. Functional Role Applies advanced health informatics knowledge / judgement to promote colleague involvement in planning, decision-making, and evaluating deployed health information technology outcomes. Addresses complex and/or precedent setting challenges in diverse healthcare delivery environments. Functions as an expert in health informatics practice and/or areas related to the assigned roles and responsibility. Develops and executes corrective action approaches, in collaboration with organizational resources, for identified problem areas. Facilitates collaboration at all levels of the organization and demonstrates expert use of health informatics concepts, knowledge of technology, information sciences and fundamentals of project management. Leads, manages and organizes complex, typically enterprise-wide, health informatics project and/or programs that impacts care delivery to ensure continuity, accountability and adoption of health information technologies. Places patient at the center of design efforts to support efficient workflows that ensures quality care at the point of service. Utilizes and encourages innovative thinking to solve problems. Uses proof-of-concept and solution-trials to gather preliminary data on the feasibility and efficacy of innovation. Uses preliminary data to inform future development opportunities. Facilitates the documentation, evaluation and prioritization of requested system improvements. Assists with movement of requests through governance structures and processes to evaluate enterprise-level opportunities, applicability or impacts. Ensures timely follow-up communication with stakeholders regarding issue resolution and status of outstanding requests.
