About The Position

The Health Informatics Integrator Nurse (HI Integrator RN) is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process, influences outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and executes position responsibilities that demonstrate proficiency and self-directed goal setting for managing complex situations. Demonstrates competence of the following core informatics functions to include content management, application support, health information technology system optimization, enterprise data management, business architecture management, partnership management, requirements management, and change management. The HI Integrator RN serves in the lead role for the Federal Electronic Health Record (FEHR) ticket management platform. The Hl Integrator bridges local FEHR users and informaticists with VISN informaticists and the National Hub to identify and develop solutions supporting optimization of FEHR clinical workflows. The HI Integrator RN advances FEHR problem management by connecting the clinical community and FEHR functional capability to solve problems, ensuring a seamless ticketing workflow that remains grounded in patient safety and excellence in healthcare delivery. The HI Integrator RN utilizes stakeholder engagement, collaborative partnerships, and change management principles to assess presenting problems, triage requests, inform mitigation strategies and route issues through appropriate solutioning pathways. The HI Integrator RN leverages expert knowledge of FEHR clinical workflows, excellent communication skills, problem solving capabilities, and working understanding of related VHA systems and processes. The HI Integrator RN also performs reports and metrics activities to track problems and incident management.

Requirements

  • Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
