We're looking for a Health Information Assistant who strives to provide operational excellence and genuine care in a team environment. Our Health Information Management (HIM) Department is primarily responsible for: Patient health records and ensure that needed health information is complete, accurate and available to legitimate users. Protect patient privacy, provide information security, comply with standards and regulations regarding health information and administer health information computer systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in health information experience, in any healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred, but not required.
