Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an approved program for specific field of study in Health/Fitness or degree in related field
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer application skills
Responsibilities
- Assists the Site Coordinators in managing specialized group fitness programs and the facility itself (i.e., spinning, aquatics, front desk, fitness floor).
- Develops individual exercise recommendations based on members' goals and provides equipment orientations as necessary.
- Administers and interprets fitness assessments as needed.
- Stays current with member tracking and re-evaluates and updates members' goals as necessary.
- Fitness Instruction: consultations, equipment orientations, fitness testing, etc.
- Maintains overall appearance and operation of the fitness and front desk areas.
- Performs daily cleaning duties, equipment inspections, and equipment prevenatative maintenance as scheduled.
- Provides quality customer and membership service and at the front desk (Filing, check-in service, membership cards and paperwork).
- Helps to provide Member Education: bulletin boards, recipe cards, etc.
- Provides Member Services: front desk coverage, new member sign up, etc.
- Provides Manager on Duty responsibilities: MOD coverage and all managerial duties associated with this duty.
