About The Position

The Health Fitness Technician position at TriHealth involves supporting the operations of a fitness center in a corporate or community setting. The role focuses on providing fitness assessments, managing group fitness schedules, and ensuring the maintenance of fitness equipment while delivering excellent customer service to members.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an approved program for a specific field of study in Health/Fitness.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer application skills.

Responsibilities

  • Staff the fitness center in a corporate/commercial and/or community setting.
  • Help maintain fitness center equipment.
  • Perform fitness assessments and interpret results.
  • Assist with managing the group fitness schedule.
  • Staff health fairs and assist with health screenings such as blood pressure and body composition.
  • Develop individual exercise recommendations based on members' goals.
  • Provide equipment orientations as necessary.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and operation of the fitness and front desk areas.
  • Perform daily cleaning duties and equipment inspections.
  • Provide quality customer and membership service at the front desk.
  • Help provide member education through bulletin boards and recipe cards.
  • Provide front desk coverage and new member sign-up services.
  • Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed.
