About The Position
HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is a leader in providing fitness solutions that engage and connect people both on-site and online, creating a strong community of health. We focus on fostering meaningful connections with each participant to help them progress on their health journeys. As a Health Fitness Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client located in Midtown Manhattan, NY. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with schedules available from Monday to Friday, either from 6 am to 2:30 pm or 11:30 am to 8 pm, ensuring no weekend work is required. In this role, you will directly impact the health and well-being of our members by coordinating, implementing, and delivering health and fitness improvement programs and services. You will also be responsible for promoting fitness center activities and conducting outreach initiatives. Your duties will include providing individual and group exercise instruction, monitoring the fitness facility, conducting fitness testing and assessments, and advising participants on their results. Additionally, you will design individualized programs tailored to meet the interests, abilities, and goals of our members, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed in their fitness journeys.
