As a Health Fitness Instructor, you are passionate about healthy living and promoting positive lifestyle choices and changes beyond just exercise. The role involves assessing, motivating, and educating members, proactively promoting wellness opportunities that are crucial for injury prevention, illness recovery, and disease management. You are expected to stay updated on the latest research and trends in exercise techniques, nutrition, and wellness practices. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, wellness or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in health/wellness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fitness programs, classes, and activities for members to meet member needs
• Identify and implement improvement processes utilizing Accelerated Improvement Process (AIP) and/or Plan, Do, Check and Act (PDCA).
• Demonstrate competence and knowledge in the assessment, treatment, care of adults, particularly older adults and geriatric adults.
• Develop and implement lectures and other educational experiences related to wellness topics.
• Demonstrate responsibility for containment of costs and conservation of supplies and equipment.
• Perform assessments by instructing members on proper techniques utilizing the individualized exercise prescription.
