About The Position

The Health Facility Management Assistant at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center plays a crucial role in supporting the administration of health-related facility operations. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks under the supervision of a director or deputy director, focusing on the planning, development, review, and evaluation of facility policies, procedures, and systems.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Two years of professional experience in health facility administration.
  • Experience in human resources, business/finance offices, or quality management.
  • A Juris Doctor or master's degree can substitute for one year of specialized experience.

  • Experience in a psychiatric or mental health facility.
  • Knowledge of New York State health regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and developing facility policies and procedures.
  • Review and evaluate existing systems and processes.
