What You’ll Do The Health Teacher is responsible for the development and implementation of the health education program at Pathways and reports to the Director of Special Education. The goal of the health education program is to promote, maintain and improve students’ health by increasing students’ knowledge on how to maintain and improve their overall health, prevent diseases, reduce health related risky behaviors and develop healthy attitudes and skills that address the Rhode Island Health Education Standards in a developmentally appropriate and comprehensive manner.
