About The Position

Responsible for creating, arranging, and conducting health screenings, health education, disease management, and prevention programs for group and community needs. Assesses and reviews educational programs for effectiveness on a periodic basis. Monitors health care technology to ensure that the programs are aligned with the current trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education and Promotion, Nutrition or related field.
• Experience in Health Promotion programs focused on tobacco cessation, stress management and weight loss or weight management.
• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Valid state driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Education and Promotion, Nutrition or related field.
• 2 years of experience in Health Education or relevant area.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in Spanish language.

Responsibilities

• Conducts programs like health coaching, nutrition counseling, health access navigation, health information tables, lectures, health screenings, tobacco cessation programs, and worksite wellness programs.
• Designs, implements, evaluates, and oversees programs using individual and population-based health promotion strategies to improve lifestyle choices and create a healthy corporate environment.
• Monitors programs to assure efficient and effective quality service as well as employee health outcomes.
• Reports program and process data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Serves as a point of contact for community health and wellness resources.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
