About The Position

Position: Health Director - Camp Nurse (Seasonal) Will serve as Camp Nurse for the camp season: Beginning: Monday, June 29, 2026 Ending: Friday, August 7, 2026 (Including end of camp celebration Saturday, August 8, 2026) Pay (seasonal): $10,000-$12,000 The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Triage and provision of nursing care and first aid as needed for campers and staff Medication administration and management in accordance with NYS laws Collection, tracking and review of camper health forms and communication of health needs with administration Agreement to work as follows during the camp season: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. (No camp on Friday, July 3rd) Agreement to participate in following in preparation for the camp season: Two days of pre-camp prep the week of June 22nd (exact date TBD) One day of systems training with Health Director in May (exact date TBD) Take over collection, tracking and review of Health Forms upon start date For more information about the Summers program go to: summers.lrei.org

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Registered Nurse license (NY)

Responsibilities
