As a Data Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with real-world production data systems in a collaborative research environment. You will also work on our production research data pipeline, supporting critical healthcare-focused data initiatives.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline
Basic SQL programming skills
Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, Florida office (not a remote role)
Basic scripting language skills, such as Python
Experience working with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, or databases

Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines under the guidance of senior data engineers
Contribute to the production research data pipeline
Improve and maintain Snowflake-based databases and pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and QA processes
Assist in building and organizing data management systems for production data projects
Learn and follow Voloridge Health data engineering standards and best practices
Create and maintain data engineering and operational documentation
Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and analysts to troubleshoot and resolve data issues
