Qualified candidates must reside in MST and PST zones Position Overview: The Health Coach Dietitian supports members in achieving their health and wellness goals through personalized nutrition counseling, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based coaching. This role combines clinical expertise in dietetics with a passion for empowering individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must reside in MST and PST zones
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Registered Dietician Licensure required in the state of residence if applicable
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Upon hire, required to obtain licensure in multiple states where members reside (CVS will support the cost of required licensure)
• 5+ years of experience working in a multidisciplinary team
• 5+ years of experience with weight management, disease management, medical nutrition therapy, and healthy lifestyle behavior change
• 5+ years of coaching experience
• Computer literacy and demonstrated proficiency to navigate internal/external computer systems and MS Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel and Teams
• Highly organized, flexible, and able to adapt and embrace change in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, empathy, and motivational interviewing skills
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to critically think and navigate challenging situations
• Ability to prioritize competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and dependable

Nice To Haves

• Experience with digital health tools or telehealth platforms such as Teams and or Zoom

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions focused on nutrition, chronic disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits
• Utilizing interviewing and active listening skills, provides nutritional coaching, information and support to empower the member to make ongoing independent healthy lifestyle choices.
• Develop individualized care plans and set measurable goals with members
• Document member interactions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with organizational standards
• Stay current with best practices in dietetics and health coaching
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated care
