About The Position

This position is for a Health Club Attendant at the Chambers Center for Well Being in Morristown, part of Atlantic Health. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the cleanliness and organization of all facility areas according to Chambers Center Policies and Procedures. Responsibilities

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of all areas of the facility per Chambers Center Policies and Procedures.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing locker rooms and thermal suites on an on-going basis throughout the day.
  • Spot-cleaning all glass doors and window of smudges; sanitizing door handles.
  • Mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpeting and floors when necessary.
  • Cleaning woodwork, walls, and windows when in need.
  • Dusting woodwork and shelving throughout facility.
  • Replacing toiletries as needed in all locker rooms and restrooms.
  • Keeping equipment and supplies in order; requesting re-supply when needed.
  • Cleans and maintains the functioning of the salt generator in the salt therapy room.
  • Ensures thermal suite, locker room, and linen supply areas are well stocked and cleaned.
  • Helps support Chamber’s ReFresh Café on breaks or needs assigned by management.
  • Follows the department’s policies and procedures on cleaning, disinfecting and deodorization.
  • Cleans up major spills when necessary, responding to pages in a timely manner.
  • Obtains all supplies and equipment for performance of tasks; cleans and restocks housekeeping room at the end of each shift.
  • Maintains laundry bin organization for the laundry vendor to pick up and drop off each day.
  • Properly opens and closes each shift according to the SOPs.
  • Works well with other departments to ensure a high level of guest service.
  • Assists guests in a courteous and polite manner.
  • Communicates to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Center that require attention.
  • Reports any repairs to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
