About The Position

Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is seeking 2025 Summer Interns who are passionate about applying advanced analytics and data science to address significant challenges in healthcare. The mission of the Evernorth Health Services Research Institute is to assist members, clients, and the broader community through empirical evidence derived from peer-reviewed research and innovative reports. The research conducted supports clinical and business decision-making, ultimately improving health outcomes. Interns will report directly to leaders within the Institute and engage in research activities that tackle pressing healthcare questions, support the value of services delivered to patients, identify new business opportunities, and demonstrate the clinical and financial impact of Evernorth Health Services products and services. They will apply their understanding of research methodology, including research design and statistical analysis, to develop and implement research projects. Interns will collaborate on various projects, conceptualize research questions, develop research designs, write proposals, conduct analyses, and disseminate results to relevant audiences. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, ensuring timely project completion.
