About The Position
The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers. This role requires a combination of skill and flexibility, as well as a willingness to work as a collaborative and inclusive member of a team. This role requires a compassionate individual with demonstrated communication skills and clinical proficiency. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience in customer service or health care preferred
- MA Certification preferred, Phlebotomy a plus
- Experience with Epic
- Must have or obtain the Flu and COVID Vaccines!
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate appropriate service behaviors in interactions with patients and colleagues and practices In this Together and Service Standard values
- Actively contribute to an inclusive workplace culture by working collaboratively as a valued member of the care team
- Proactively work to resolve conflict and perform service recovery, as needed
- Administrative duties include answering phones, making appointments, taking messages, transferring records for patients, and ensuring completion of health center records and required forms
- Perform patient medical and social history intakes and provide education as indicated for the services patients are seeking as directed by supervisor/clinician on duty
- Complete basic lab work and follow procedures as required
- Provide patients with non-judgmental pregnancy options counseling and make referrals for service based on the patient’s choice
- Assist licensed medical staff with the delivery of reproductive care as needed
- Perform all recordkeeping duties related to patient care with accuracy
- Perform housekeeping and stocking duties as needed
- Complete HIPAA and OSHA training and other training as required
- Travel to other health centers within the affiliate as needed
