The Health Center Administrator (HCA) is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the health center, from overseeing a variety of administrative functions to training and managing personnel in a professional, team-oriented environment. The HCA supports operational initiatives, achieving patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes measured via a variety of metrics with a focus on service and operational excellence. The primary responsibilities of this position are direct and indirect supervision of all center staff (excluding providers), fostering cohesion among the center, managing and coordinating the development and implementation of policies and procedures as they relate to customer service. The role of the Health Center Administrator requires a comprehensive skill set, including excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
