About The Position

The Program Manager provides leadership to all employees and others while having a dedicated onsite presence. This role oversees and performs quality checks on all cleaning and janitorial services performed under the Government contract, which includes various onsite buildings and spaces such as public areas, canteens, restrooms, drinking fountains, hospital corridors, outer buildings, and the parking deck. The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the healthcare facilities and oversees all supervisors. Quality check results are provided to the EMS Chief.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Certified Health Care Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) Certification.
  • Demonstrates mastery of maintaining the environment of care in the health care field.
  • Possesses verified knowledge and expertise in sanitation, waste and textile management, compliance, finance, and administration.
  • Must work on-site 5 days per week during shifts (normally Monday-Friday, first or second shift).
  • Must have at least one of the following:
  • 1. Baccalaureate degree or higher from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of environmental services experience in a health care setting, with two (2) years in a management/supervisory/administrative role.
  • 2. An Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited college plus four (4) years of environmental services experience in a health care setting, with three (3) years in a management/supervisory/administrative role.
  • 3. A High school diploma or equivalent plus five (5) years of environmental services experience in a management/supervisory/administrative role in a health care setting.

  • Oversee all supervisors and ensure quality service delivery.
