About The Position

The Health & Beauty Care (HBC) Manager at Rouses Enterprises is responsible for leading the HBC department team to achieve sales and labor targets while ensuring a remarkable shopping environment. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of retail grocery products and operations
• 1+ years of experience in a retail grocery department
• 1+ years of experience in a team leadership role
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Leading the HBC Department team to achieve sales and labor targets
• Guaranteeing a remarkable shopping environment with friendly and helpful team members
• Communicating effectively with customers, team members, and store management
• Training and coaching HBC team members
• Performing team member performance conversations
• Supervising completion of required department activities
• Contacting vendors to request credits or other needs
• Following merchandising direction and creating visually appealing displays
• Maintaining advertised item in-stocks to maximize sales
• Monitoring use and maintenance of store equipment and facilities
• Using web apps to access reports, email, and other systems
• Completing required paperwork accurately and on time
• Supporting new store openings as directed
• Other duties as assigned
