About The Position

This is both a food service and project-based role that will require some collaboration with dining management and staff. Health and wellness interns will primarily be responsible for event planning and execution alongside the registered dietitian. But other tasks will be assigned to help support the wellness, marketing, and sustainability team.At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Requirements

  • Current College of Charleston student
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward students, clients, and co-workers
  • Ability to maintain a contagious and positive work ethic.
  • This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with RD and other health and wellness interns to plan events
  • Assist with national menu labeling compliance
  • Aiding in allergen training of front-line associates
  • Conduct audits at campus dining locations on a regular basis
  • Support health and wellness event execution
  • Collaborate with marketing team to make appropriate event signage
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
