About The Position

The Health and Wellness Director at Wickshire Senior Living Group is responsible for leading and directing the community to create a vibrant living environment for residents while ensuring a great workplace for associates. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining high-quality service, and achieving financial targets, all while fostering resident satisfaction and associate engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, geriatrics, health care, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in senior living, hospitality, health care, or a related setting.
  • At least seven years of leadership experience in senior living or a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • RN or LPN License preferred, with compliance to state licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in operations within a senior living, hospitality, or residential care environment.
  • Strong customer orientation towards older adults.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop recreation and activity programs tailored to residents' needs and interests.
  • Attract, retain, coach, and lead a high-performance management team to direct daily operations.
  • Develop and monitor the community's annual operating budget and business plan, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Serve as the Chief Sales Officer, leading the sales team to manage leads and achieve occupancy goals.
  • Ensure service delivery consistency across departments in line with company standards and regulations.
  • Establish effective communication strategies throughout the community to promote openness and timely information sharing.
  • Plan and execute orientation for new associates and ongoing training programs for staff development.
  • Engage in family and resident communications to foster strong relationships and accountability in staff communications.
  • Implement safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the community.
  • Monitor the community's environment to ensure it is safe, clean, and attractive for residents and guests.
  • Participate in special projects to support other communities or the broader organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and local market conditions to keep management updated.
  • Oversee the effective operation of the health center, if applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in mandatory training and maintain confidentiality.
