Requirements

  • One (1) year of working experience.
  • Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
  • Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
  • Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in and support the identification, assessment, reporting and correction of workplace environmental factors, unsafe conditions and behaviors at assigned site.
  • Assist site management in complying with Company, OSHA, MSHA and other regulations and standards.
  • Assist in performing risk assessments, analyses of operational procedures, facility design, equipment and material, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Assist in the development and recommendation of appropriate remedial action in response to unsafe conditions or behavior.
  • Develop a current knowledge of Company, OSHA, MSHA and other regulations and standards.
  • Assist site management in developing Health & Safety plans and remedial actions.
  • Assist with drafting appropriate reports and presentations for management.
  • Perform other duties as required.
