Requirements

One (1) year of working experience.
Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Responsibilities

Assist in and support the identification, assessment, reporting and correction of workplace environmental factors, unsafe conditions and behaviors at assigned site.
Assist site management in complying with Company, OSHA, MSHA and other regulations and standards.
Assist in performing risk assessments, analyses of operational procedures, facility design, equipment and material, audits, and incident investigations.
Assist in the development and recommendation of appropriate remedial action in response to unsafe conditions or behavior.
Develop a current knowledge of Company, OSHA, MSHA and other regulations and standards.
Assist site management in developing Health & Safety plans and remedial actions.
Assist with drafting appropriate reports and presentations for management.
Perform other duties as required.
