We are seeking a Health and Safety Specialist with expertise in data analytics, safety technology integration, and taxonomy development to support our safety initiatives. This role will drive data-driven safety improvements by managing our structured classification frameworks (taxonomies) for safety incidents, hazards, and risk factors, ensuring consistency and accuracy in safety data reporting. The ideal candidate will also work cross-functionally to integrate cutting-edge safety technologies, such as wearable safety devices, IoT-based monitoring, and predictive analytics, to create a safer mining environment. This role reports directly to the Director of Health, Safety and Loss Control. There is the ability to be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Chicago, or to work remotely; with travel as needed.
