About The Position

We have an amazing opportunity for a Safety Specialist. This role will be located at the job site and requires extensive travel, with 11 days on and 3 days off (overtime paid). The position involves the overall administration of the company safety & health program, supervision and support of all company safety standards, safety training and education, insurance claims and management, jobsite safety inspection and data analysis, incident investigation and reporting to upper management/executives, and maintaining applicable safety reference material on the job site. Additionally, the specialist will attend pre-work meetings, establish a Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Deficiency Tracking System, maintain a list of hazardous chemicals on-site and their material Safety Data Sheets, maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities, and provide and keep a record of site safety orientation and indoctrination.

Requirements

  • OSHA30 AND a minimum of 2 years experience in Construction safety.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • High School diploma.
  • MUST be Bilingual (SPANISH).
  • Must have VALID driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a government background check.
  • Must be available to travel to project site and be on site for up to 2 weeks for duration of project.
