About The Position

Touchmark on West Century is a full-service retirement community in Bismarck/Mandan, dedicated to enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. The community is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their Health and Fitness Club team as Member Services Representatives. This role involves warmly welcoming and directing all incoming members and guests, acting as a primary contact for questions and assistance for fitness club members, residents, guests, and team members. The club offers a wide range of activities and classes tailored to adults aged 50 and over, focusing on age-related conditions and promoting lifelong health and wellness. Amenities include an indoor heated pool, a group exercise studio, personal training, a fully equipped fitness studio, massage therapy, and a NeuroCom Balance Master system. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-level customer service and hospitality, and enjoys working with actively aging adults.

Requirements

  • Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a busy setting, or similar experience in a customer service or hospitality position
  • Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Have an enthusiastic, positive attitude towards fitness for all age groups
  • Be comfortable answering phones while greeting and providing information to members
  • Be excellent at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and direct all incoming members and guests
  • Serve as a “go-to” person for fitness club members, residents, guests, and team members who have questions or need assistance
  • Provide excellent hospitality to club members and visitors over the telephone and at the Member Services desk
  • Ensure that the fitness equipment, locker rooms, and aquatic center are exceptionally clean and safe
  • Test the chemical levels in the pool and spa on a regular basis
  • Provide towel/laundry service
