About The Position

As a Healthcare Financial/Actuarial Senior Analyst, you will be a key member of the Financial Actuarial & Analytics (FAA) Community of Expertise. You will contribute to complex analytical work involving the design, financing, measurement, and financial analysis of employer health and group benefit programs, while translating that expertise into scalable intellectual capital used across FAA. You will partner with FAA practitioners, Client Service teams, Global Delivery Centers, and technology partners to develop, refine, and deploy reusable tools, models, and analytical frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to grow deep health and benefits expertise, financial acumen, and project management skills while working on high-impact, forward-looking initiatives alongside FAA leaders. The Role Serve as an active contributor to FAA Intellectual Capital initiatives, developing and enhancing financial models, analytic tools, dashboards, benchmarks, and standardized deliverables Apply financial, actuarial, and analytic expertise across employer health and group benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, disability, and voluntary benefits Support benefit plan analysis, design, cost avoidance, risk, and funding strategies, translating concepts into reusable IC assets Contribute to vendor financial reviews and incorporate insights into IC development Review technical and consulting accuracy of outputs, including pricing strategies, employee contribution methodologies, plan design modeling, and financial projections Deliver accurate and reliable claims reporting and financial modeling to support FAA teams Communicate complex financial, actuarial, and analytic results clearly to internal stakeholders Partner with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams to support efficient, high-quality delivery Build strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in professional services, ideally within benefits consulting, brokerage, or health underwriting/actuarial roles
  • Knowledge of health and welfare products and services
  • Experience with financial modeling, claims reporting, and analytic techniques; ability to learn big data analytics preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality outputs on time and within budget
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to communications effectively and in a timely manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, creative, and integrative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience using SQL and/or Python to query, manipulate, and analyze large or complex datasets is preferred
  • Progress toward actuarial designation or CEBS preferred but not required.
