About The Position
The Middle School Health Aide is responsible for representing the school building and district positively to students, staff, parents, and the community. This position responds to student health needs under the direction of the school nurse and involves traveling between two elementary schools as directed. The Health Aide administers first aid and prescribed medical care, manages medication for students, and maintains updated medical files in accordance with district policy. The role requires performing specialized care and treatment as prescribed, facilitating communication with parents, managing clinic supplies, and performing clerical duties related to the nurse's office.
