The Healing Care RN provides compassionate, holistic support to oncology patients and families through ProMedica’s Healing Care Program. This role delivers one-on-one complementary therapies and education focused on stress reduction, symptom management, relaxation, and overall well-being throughout the cancer care continuum. The Healing Care RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary cancer care team to enhance the patient and family experience from diagnosis through survivorship. The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world-class patient care team. By providing patient-centered care through sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience, ProMedica nurses are dedicated to improving health outcomes for our patients and for the communities we serve. As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan. In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. SCHEDULE & WORK EXPECTATIONS: This per diem position provides support for both planned and unplanned staffing needs, including vacations, leaves of absence, call-offs, and increased patient volume.
