About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Header Combo A Welder for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in Catoosa. This position includes a $500 Sign-On Bonus (paid after 60 days). The Header Combo A Welder role requires advanced TIG and Stick welding skills, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Required Weld Test – Header Combo A Welder
2G Back Plate Test , including:
TIG Root & Hot Pass
7018 Stick Fill & Cap
Must pass 100% X-Ray

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Header Combo A Welder or similar high-skill welder
• Ability to pass all required weld tests
• Strong understanding of welding symbols and fabrication standards
• Ability to safely operate cranes and fabrication equipment
• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and quality-driven

Responsibilities

• Weld metal parts using MIG , Stick , or a combination of arc welding processes
• Fabricate and repair headers and header subassemblies
• Read and interpret drawings , weld symbols , and weld procedures
• Remove metal using carbon arc gouging and/or plasma gouging
• Position parts using overhead cranes or jib cranes
• Use tape measures and perform basic math calculations
• Maintain high-quality standards and follow all safety procedures
