About The Position

Geisinger Neuroscience Institute is seeking an additional headache neurologist to join our Northeast Neurology Clinics based in Wilkes Barre and Scranton, Pennsylvania. Join our system wide care team consisting of three fellowship-trained headache neurologists, advanced practitioners, pharmacists and nurse navigators. This is an out-patient position with no hospital coverage or nighttime call required. There are also opportunities for hybrid remote work from home. The ideal candidate will be a graduate from a headache fellowship program with strong clinical skills, interest in teaching the next generation of providers, and experience with nerve blocks and botulinum toxin for headache. The neurology clinics are in free-standing medical office buildings with local support including neurosurgery, clinical neurophysiology, behavioral medicine, physical therapy, and rehabilitation. There are also pharmacies, labs, and radiology on-site. Clinic patients also have immediate access to infusion centers if needed. Medical students from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and residents from Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center rotate through the clinics, so there are ample opportunities for teaching. Faculty appointments and more formal roles in education are available for qualified candidates. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
• Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
