About The Position

The Head Wrestling Coach position is available for the 2025-26 school year at Monmouth Regional High School. The successful candidate will oversee the wrestling program, managing both the coaching staff and the team budget. This role requires a strong commitment to the program, including managing activities during the pre-season and off-season, and attending all team practices, meetings, and matches from November to February.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid NJ teaching certificate or a NJ substitute certificate.
• CPR/First aid certificate required.
• Complete all NJSIAA requirements.
• Strong wrestling experience with high school aged student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the coaching staff and team budget.
• Oversee the wrestling program during pre- and off-season.
• Attend all team practices, meetings, and matches from November to February.
• Assist athletes with the college recruiting process.
• Develop strong relationships with student-athletes, colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians.
