About The Position

The Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Elon University is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the women's volleyball program, including recruiting, training, and coaching student-athletes. This role requires compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, as well as university policies governing intercollegiate athletics. The coach will develop a competitive program while supporting the educational goals of the student-athletes.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in coaching at the intercollegiate level.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment and eligibility.

Nice To Haves

• Coaching experience in a NCAA Division I level program is preferred.
• Master's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer all activities related to the women's volleyball program.
• Supervise recruiting, training, and coaching of student-athletes.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, as well as conference rules and university policies.
• Develop and implement a recruitment strategy and direct all recruiting activities.
• Schedule and supervise all practice sessions and intercollegiate contests.
• Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes and provide academic assistance as needed.
• Recruit and hire a competent coaching staff, providing guidance and encouraging professional development.
• Manage program funds and ensure fiscal responsibility for all expenditures related to the sport.
• Contribute to the overall success of the university's intercollegiate athletics program.
