About The Position
Southern Maine Community College Athletics seeks an individual to serve as the department’s Head Women’s Volleyball Coach. This is a part time stipend position. Specific duties will include planning and implementing practices, student-athlete recruitment, player development, and monitoring of player academic performance.
Requirements
- demonstrated coaching experience at the college or high school level, or previous playing experience
- ability to recruit student athletes
- outstanding written and oral communication skills
- familiarity with NCAA/USCAA Volleyball rules
- ability to work nights and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree
- current certification of CPR and First Aid as well as recognized coaching effectiveness certification
