Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach (Boys)

About the position

Clayton Valley Charter High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach to lead our boys' lacrosse program. This role requires a passionate leader who can develop players' skills, foster teamwork, and uphold the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a competitive and growth-focused lacrosse program.
• Plan and conduct effective practices, focusing on fundamentals, strategy, and teamwork.
• Lead the team in competitions, making in-game adjustments and strategic decisions.
• Mentor student-athletes on and off the field, promoting academic success and character building.
• Work closely with athletic directors, assistant coaches, parents, and school staff to ensure a positive experience for student-athletes.
• Ensure all league, school, and CIF regulations are followed, emphasizing player safety and sportsmanship.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Comfortable in all areas of working in a high school setting.
• Coaching experience at the high school or club level (preferred).
• Knowledge of lacrosse rules, strategies, and training techniques.
• Should be able to stand for long periods at a time and able to work outdoors.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
