About The Position

Supervises the day-to-day operations of the teller line and is responsible for maintaining an adequate cash reserve to meet members' needs. Ensures efficient staffing of the teller line based on volume and oversees the proper training of employees. Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Schedule and monitor daily activities associated with cash operations and the teller line Assist in hiring employees for the teller line. Responsible for training new employees and ensuring their adherence to CAMPUS policies and procedures. Head Tellers serve as coaches and mentors, guiding tellers through their 90-day development plan and performance evaluations Perform teller transactions based on the needs of the Service Center. Head Tellers should work on the teller line weekly to ensure Tellers are following operational procedures Collaborate and cultivate cross-selling opportunities for the teller line to ensure that members derive benefits from the products and services being offered Possess strong time management and organizational skills. Complete monthly/quarterly audits promptly, ensure dual control is in place, and order cash before the weekly deadline. Ensure that the department consistently delivers friendly, professional, and personalized service to all members. Inform management about any important operational issues that are impacting the department Demonstrate positive behavior to colleagues both in person and on social media, and uphold a professional work environment that aligns with CAMPUS' culture

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 - 5 years of similar or related experience
  • Must have completed CAMPUS Cash Operations Certification. New hires must complete Cash Operations Certification within 18 months of employment
