About The Position

Are you ideal for working as a Head Swim Coach at the Leawood Aquatic?

Are you 18 years of age OR older?
Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills?
Are you reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment?
Are you ready to make some extra money for the summer?
Do you have experience coaching kids?

As the Head Swim Coach, you will work:

Approximately 20 – 40 hours per week.
Weekdays, nights, mornings, weekends, and holidays.
The Pool Season runs from May to September.

Requirements

• 18 years of age OR older
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
• Experience coaching kids

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead structures swim team practices
• Coordinate and submit meet entries for swimmers in accordance with competition deadlines.
• Coach, supervise, and lead assistant swim coaches during practices and meets.
• Coordinate pool facility setup and cleanup before, during, and after practices and meets.
