Requirements

CHARACTER. This coach must have world class character & align with our core values. Here at D1 Training we work hard & play hard. You must show up every single day ready to have fun with high energy. If you don’t bring the juice, or are up & down day to day, you won’t make it on this high performance team.
COACH. This coach should be able to step in on day 1 & work with anyone. We have classes for 7-11 year olds, 12-14 year olds, 15-18 year olds, & adults. We have 100+ one on one clients doing personal training & these athletes range from 7 years old to currently playing in the NFL. You can’t have an ego around who you work with & must LOVE coaching everyone.
Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA preferably CSCS.
Minimum of 6 years of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.

Nice To Haves

Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service.
Starting and finishing workouts on time.
Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program.
Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member.
Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams.
Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe.
Leading the team of local coaches and delivering the BEST workout experience in the industry to our clients.
Assisting the General Manager ensuring all coaches are Level 1certified the D1 Way and maintaining quality control standards via consistent auditing and coaching feedback.
Conducting assessments and goal setting during the FTA process ensuring athletes are prescribed, motivated, and committed to the proper program to reach their goals.
Serving as the Main coach for all the classes and oversee coaching schedule. Conduct and lead all classes the D1 Way. This requires proper attire, proper music, loud verbal coaching, understanding/enforcing coaching cues, organization of the group sessions, and tempo and transition of all the groups.
Training and developing the other coaches in the facility through staff meetings, continuing education, and program review. Ensure all new coaches go through the proper process to become a D1 coach.
Overseeing the training spaces maintenance and cleaning. Maintain equipment, cleaning, and organization of all training areas. Attend and lead marketing events such as competitions, combines, etc.
