As part of Jefferson County’s Head Start department, the Head Start Site Aide is responsible for supporting with a variety of day-to-day tasks that support overall functioning of classrooms, food service, cleanliness and safety, and any other program needs. About Head Start: Head Start is a no cost, all-inclusive, child-focused, and family-centered early-childhood program for children ages 0-5. A range of individualized services in the areas of education, early childhood development, medical, dental, mental health, nutrition, family support, and parent education. SCHEDULE: This position is a temporary, non-benefited position that will be scheduled to work approximately 20-30 hours/week, up to 130 hours per month, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.
