About The Position
OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Teacher Assistant . As an Assistant Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co-teaching team to help make this happen. You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice. Requirements
- Minimum of HS Diploma/GED AND six (6) college credit hours or Preschool CDA.
- Experience working with preschool children.
- Willingness to obtain Early Childhood Development Specialization Certification from Ozarks Tech (paid for by employer).
